Funcare
Out of School & Holiday Club
Our Funcare provision offers a welcoming, exciting and relaxed environment for children aged 5–12 years, providing both after-school care and holiday club throughout the year.
At Wyke Community & Children’s Centre, we believe that older children need somewhere that feels different from school. Funcare gives children the freedom to choose how they spend their time, build friendships, explore their interests and enjoy new experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
A place to unwind after school
Our Out of School Club runs Monday to Friday until 6pm, providing a convenient collection service from local schools including Appleton Academy and Worthinghead Primary.
Once children arrive at Funcare, the school day is behind them. They can relax with friends, enjoy something to eat and choose from a wide variety of activities both indoors and outdoors.
Our team creates an environment where children have genuine choice. Whether they want to get creative, build something, play games, spend time outdoors or simply sit and chat with their friends, there is always something to do.
